Ferrets are not native to the Artic region! In the
wild they live most part of the time under
ground!However an interesting point to show that
extended periods of light do change the biological
make-up, is the fact that 'big breeders' use 'extended
light' to initiate the breeding cycles, to produce
kits in 'off' season instead of during the ferrets
normal cycle!
