Subject: Rectal Disease

I just got home from the vet with my 2 1/2 year old female, Mimi. She
has a swollen rectum, and the vet told me to note that the vulva is
not swollen, nor is there any sign of hair loss. She said that
sometimes these things can be sign of adrenal disease. Also the vet
says that it looks as if the may have a slightly prolapsed rectum.
They are doing a test on some fecal matter currently. Does anyone
have any insight into this?

I also have to other ferrets, another 2 1/2 year old female, Angel,
and a 4 month old male, Bear. If that helps or if the others could be
in any danger. She is the only once currently exhibiting symptoms.

Thank you,
Jennapher, Mimi, Angel, and Bear
