Subject: Gagging when yawning...

When it rains, it pours. Still looking after sick Vicky who is recovering
nicely still and putting on weight! She eats 3/4-1 can of A/D a day! :-)
But now I'm worried about my Mason. This morning he was reluctant to eat,
it's like when he opens his mouth, it makes him gag so he was reluctant to
open his mouth to eat but of course he was hungry and he did eat his portion
eventually... He was still asleep when it was feeding time, usually he's
awake and can't wait for his portion... This afternoon I checked on him and
he was yawning but as soon as he yawned, he gagged again. I got a torch and
looked into his mouth and down his throat but everything looks normal.
There was a dangly bit at the back of his throat but is that part of the
soft pallet (sp?)? My vet isn't in today but she is tomorrow so if Mason
doesn't get better he will go to the vets tomorrow but I was wondering
whether anybody has any idea what might be wrong?
