Subject: Has anyone heard of
Hi! I am new at this post but I have 3 wonderful sable ferrets! One
of them I had to take to the vets yesterday she is 3yrs old, not
feeling well off of food and water and sleeping all the time. The vet
took xrays and found out her stomach is on the right side instead if
the left. They say it is rare in ferrets but can be caused by having
a full stomach and then they go play and then there stomach flips to
the other side. Surgery is a must. But in her case I am going to have
to put her down,the Dr. says it is not a fullproof surgery and could
die in surgery and is very evpensive and she is very weak. I was
wondering if anyone has heard of this? Pam
