Subject: I THINK I'VE GOT IT!!!

Thanks to everyone who sent their ideas. I think I've finally
mastered the cage problem provided Pepé doesn't mess on the sheets. A
big thanks to Tina for the sheets idea. It also looks a lot
more "homey". It's not that Pepé didn't want to use the litter box,
it's that he doesn't like the ramps or tube. Yesterday I bought the
Super Pet Ferretrail FlexeFunnel because it's not that hard plastic
and they can get a much better grip on it. I put that on the bottom
in place of the hard plastic tube and stretched it out so there's not
much of a drop from above. It's more like a stairway. Pepé seems to
be getting accustomed to that one much faster. It's held in place to
the bars of the cage. I have a sheet on the bottom as well as the
litterbox. This is their sleeping area. On the second floor is the
plastic tube just sitting on the floor so they can still play in it
and most of their other toys. I have pillowcases in the corners and
their food on that floor. On the third floor I have another
litterbox, corner sleeper and hammock. Right now I have the top floor
closed off. I put them up there to play. Their cube is up there and
they LOVE to play in that. But they also sleep in it, so I needed a
litterbox up there. Thanks to Jen for letting me know it opens on
top! I didn't put it together and I didn't even think I could get
into it that way. If I had 2 wishes, it would be 1) All the doors
could fit a litterbox in them. 2) ALL corners of the corner
litterbox were high--not just the back. Thank you all SO MUCH for
your ideas.
