Have you tried sub-cu rehydration or IV during the worst patches? It certainly can be haul. We had a nasty strain of it here when we finally got it, too, and it produced marked symptoms in some of our ferrets for around 3 months running. It shortened the lives of several here.

and the links associated with it such as the one on feeding a sick ferret? I think you'll find that very helpful.

It is good that you are skipping the kibble for now. Some of our's did betst on a/d but the ones who were the worst did best on all meat baby food which is easier to digest because it doesn't have grain (unlike hte kibble0 and it is lower fat than either.
