Hi, Mare,

I don't know all of them, I'm sure, but I can list quite a few. Ferrets
with adrenal disease will have some, but not all, of these symptoms.
I've had one (Romana) that never had hair loss, just everything else.
With another (Pertwee) hair loss was the last symptom to show up. Both
had clearly seen adrenal tumors when my vet went in and did surgery.

Some symptoms are:

-weight loss
-aggressiveness
-swollen vulva in females
-prostate enlargement in males (difficulty urinating)
-sexual behaviour in spayed/neutered ferrets

Every time our vet thought a ferret had adrenal disease, they did. Hair
loss frequently starts on the tail but then spreads.

The best to you and to Clyde.
