I can echo these difference in my experience. Pertwee escaped from his
cage and led us on a merry chase immediately after his nephrectomy.
Kodo and Podo (the older guys) weren't active at all for several days.
Others landed somewhere in the middle. Like Sukie, I've never lost one
right after surgery, though I have been through some difficult
recoveries, particularly after a second adrenal surgery until
electrolytes were balanced.

That's what ours does as well.
