Did your vet say whether this was expected to be a Gastrointestinal
disease or difficulty digesting? I have the strong impression that
the vet found something biological which was not supposed to be there
(bacteria, parasite, etc.) when examining the feces from what you
have written. Do you know what was found? Sometimes the results of
such exams can be misleading but sometimes they are very useful. The
medicine used depends on the suspected cause of the illness. Could
you ask the vet for that name? Giardia? Coccidia? Something else?
