I think you have little bit of a dilemma here. Lysodren can contribute to severe hypoglycemia. If she's truly has insulinoma, you're probably going to have to find a new course of treatment.
Years ago It used to be pretty common to treat adrenal disease with Lysodren but I'm surprised to hear that anyone is still using that stuff. I know Lysodren has worked for some, but I'd say it's not a great, or recommended, course of treatment these days. There are better, albeit more expensive, medical treaments available today.
As for the insulinoma, surgery is the best option, even if the adrenal gland is inoperable.
