How recently did the other ferret enter the household? Was it close
to the time the runs began?
Blood is usually taken from our's from their necks. One of us holds
the ferret's rear, and the other offers a treat while the vet takes
the blood. Doing it that way, with us right there and a loved treat
like Ferretone of Nutrical given we find that they usually (but not
always) mind the alcohol swab and the shaving more than they do the
blood draw itself.
