Need some help with treatment for a ferret with Glaucoma.

Bach is around 5-6 years of age. He belongs to a college student nearby, but boards here when owner is on vacation/break.

Over Christmas, Bach had the pressure in both eyes tested, revealing they were 85/87. Bach was prescribed eyedrops, being the generic for Timoptic (I believe -its been a couple of weeks.)

He had a re-check today. Pressures were 85/85. Bach does not seem to be bothered by the high pressures in his eyes; he is relatively active, and while I don't think he sees well, he did learn to blink when he 'saw' the drops coming!

Are there any other meds that may help? I don't know that this owner can deal with having both of his eyes removed, but being a pharmacy student has some understanding of glaucoma, and is concerned about rupture.

Any suggestions will be forwarded to my vet to help determine the best course of treatment at this time for poor Bach.

Thank you,
Julie
