I am very sorry to read about your lost. I know what you are going thru since we lost a little fuzzie back in Nov after surgery. I feel that your lost was very painful and slow for your baby who didn't deserve that kind of treatment.

But I have a couple of questions. 1) Where is this vet located? My daughter and I don't want to take our new babies there for fear that he could do the same thing again. 2) Did you sign a consent form for the blood work? If not then you have legal ground to sue the Vet in small claims court since he didn't do his job correctly.

I agree with the rest of the replies about sending a copy of your report to the Board for him being incompetence. Who knows what other animals he has no knowledge of and have killed them. This person shouldn't be working on animals without the owner's watchful eyes let along without consent forms. I also feel that he should be responsible for your bills. Especially if you didn't consent for blood work and just took her in for a routine exam. Good luck and again I am sorry read about your lost.
