Another vet in Austria said biopsies are not sure either
I wonder if what your vet meant about this was that the veterinary pathologists the vet has tried don't know ferrets well enough. If that is possibly the case then your vet could direct the ones who know English to Dr. Bruce Williams' AFIP site to help them, the ferrets, the vets using the pathologists, and all of you.

I have seen confusion when pathologists didn't know ferrets well enough.
