I was told the same thing about 10 months ago and it turned out that my
pharmacist was quite misinformed (or possibly in that case didn't want to be
bothered). Try contacting the manufacturer or a different pharmacy, or ask
your vet to get more info. I contacted the manufacturer (Schering Plough, I
think? It was difficult tracking down a number, I'm sorry I don't still have
it), and having their word that the product was still being made got my
pharmacist to "realize" that he could find it after all.
