Well, I'm stumped. Just a little while ago I discovered that my 1 1/2 year
old girl, B'Elanna, has vomited about three times in various parts of her
cage. It isn't gross or bloody -- it just looks like partially digested
food that has come back up.
But she now feels absolutely fine, as far as I can tell. I palpated her
abdomen and she doesn't seem to have any obvious discomfort when I do
that. She is no longer vomiting and is acting just like normal, eating and
playing and wardancing. She even obligingly pooped for me just a few
minutes ago, and it looks pretty normal -- there really is no evidence that
anything at all is wrong with her aside from the vomit.
I should mention that she gained winter weight with a vengeance in the fall
and is now pretty overweight. However, she did this last fall as well and
lost it all in the spring.
I am of course concerned, but my usual vet is not in the office
today. Does anyone have any suggestions?
