My two male ferrets have started to get a cold I think. They started to chough and
sneeze some last night, and I also saw that they both had a little diarrhea this morning.
They act normal and bright for now - but I am a bit worried that if the diarrhea gets
any worse they might get dehydrated. (Now it's some normal poop mixed with diarrhea.)
At the moment they do eat and drink fine, but I guess that could change if they start
feeling worse.
I saw a product from Marshall that was called ProBiotic+ today, and it said it could
help with diarrhea in ferrets. And now I wonder if anybody has tried this product for
their ferrets and can tell me if it works or not? If it works, I will go and buy it tomorrow.
And if there are any other tips anyone could give me about ferrets and colds/diarrhea I
would appreciate it very much.
We live in Norway by the way.
