Hotel information, schedule, general information and registration forms for
the 2003 International Ferret Symposium in Atlanta Georgia, October 3-5,
2003 are now available at the International Ferret Congress web site
http://www.ferretcongress.org
The first day (Friday) of this 3-day event will focus on ferret health
information, with sessions by Dr. Deborah Kemmerer, Dr. Hanneke Moorman,
Dr. Jerry Murray and Dr. Bruce Williams. Topics include the latest in
ferret health care, ferret health issues in Europe, and endocrine diseases.
A vet panel with Q&A will also be held.
A special one day registration for this day is available. Vets, vet techs
and others with special interest in ferret health issues are encouraged to
attend.
Health issues will also be covered on other days, including a presentation
by Dr. Heather Wilson and with special table topics during lunch. There
will also be plenty of fun topics, vendors, raffles and a special celebrity
auction!
We are also seeking state/province coordinators to help distribute
information and assist local attendees. Please contract Renee Downs,
