Subject: Right Adrenal Removal

Samson, my 6 yr old boy, has had his left adrenal removed. Came through surgery just fine. Now, however, we are looking at the removal of the right gland. This will be my vets and my first.
I need to know what meds to have for him, what signs to watch for at home so I know or have an idea of what to do should he have difficulties. is little Sara would be lost without him.
I want to be able to do my best for him after surgery.
Any and all help will be appreciated.
The only ferret I know of that had the right gland removed did not survive due to medication issues. What those were I'm not sure but I want to be as prepared as possible for Samson.
