When both adrenals are removed or when a remaining one is atrophied then a combination of either Florinef and Prednisone, or Procorten and Prednisone is needed. (Sometimes there are some other substitutions but these are the common ones.)

You vet may want to study right adrenal removal with vet texts, vet videos/DVDs (Charles Weiss and Deborah Kemmerer have such but I don't know if both cover R adrenals -- though it would not surprise me if both did -- and you can find their videos by seeing the WEAH/West End, and Bradley Hills/ferretdoctor sites linked from
http://www.ferretcongress.org in the Critical References. Phone consultations where your vet can ask questions and tips from an experienced ferret vet should be useful
