I need more advice from my friends!
My little guy Oscar, approx 6, has 3rd degree AV Heartblock, insulinoma and
I'm suspicious of his right adrenal gland. We go to two vets and each time
we're there they comment on how big his bladder is. This has gone on for at
least a year . When he urinates, he goes a little, walks a short distance and
goes more. We found out about his heart when we did pre-surgery work ups
scheduled for another pancreatectomy and the possible removal of his right
gland. We can't do the surgery because of his heart and neither vet wants to
give a lupron shot because of his heart. Is there something else we can do?
Or, have any of you had this same problem? Right now he is still urinating
but I'm afraid we may get to the point where he won't. Neither vet has any
real solution as to what we can do so we're turning to you. I'm also afraid
that we may get in a situation where we're going to the emergency vet on a
weekend and our clinic here doesn't have anyone really familiar with ferrets.
So, if I'm at least equipped with some info that would ease my mind.
As always, thanks very much.
