Fruktosamin is not another name for glucose, but a gereric name for a
protein bonded to a molecule of glucose. The more glucose is in circulation,
the more Fruktosamin is formed.

I've never heard of Fruktosamin, though it sounds like a foreign (to me)
word for glucose. But that's a guess as I'm not a vet.
