Hi David,
The glucose value of 114 mg/dL is in the normal range.
Thus no diabetes. The fructosamine test may not be accurate
in ferrets. I would simply recheck the ferrets glucose value.
If it is still normal then no diabetes. Diabetes in ferrets is a
rare problem. Does the ferret have signs that would go along with
diabetes such as drinking a lot and urinating large amounts?
If not another reason it is not diabetes.
