I neglected to mention that - no, he is not on steriod therapy; he's
doing fine with no supplementation so far. As far as I'm concerned,
there is a good chance that ectopic tissue remains since his right was
both friable and carcinomous.
I don't want to medicate him yet. At the very least I want to see the
regrowth on his tail first to confirm that his system is settling
down. If we don't see improvement by then, I'll keep both the Lupron
and the Prozac in mind. The kicker is that we aren't certain the
behavior is related to his adrenal problems. It's likely, but not
certain. I suppose the Lupron would answer that question for us
though.
