I can help a bit - Fruktosamin is Fructosamine, another test for diabetes (=
glycohemoglobin, or HGB A1c is a third test). Frucosamine is a glycated ser=
um protein which indicates glucose levels established over a 1-4 week perio=
d. Anyway, the human normal (non-diabetic) range for fructosamine is around=
2.4-3.4 mmol/L (depending on the method) - I don't know a range for ferret=
s, but assume it would be somewhat higher, since their glucose levels are h=
igher ... any test done on your pet by a laboratory should come with the co=
rrect reference range for that species ... which is usually established by =
running that test on at least 20 healthy animals (to start). Some test resu=
lts vary according to age and/or sex as well, and also vary according to th=
e actual method used - two different ways to measure the same thing can hav=
e very different ranges ..
