Kara & Patty - thank you both for your ideas, information & links so far. I haven't checked ears yet - critter still sleeping. zzzzz :) The spots are not crusty, puffy or reddish though...they look a little like chicken skin plucked clean! I am curious what our vet will say, and am kind of waiting to see if a few more replies come through first in case there are any other ideas I can take along with me too. I read some of the adrenal information and saved that link. Scary, but doable if caught early enough it sounds like. I hope this is something kind of minor we're starting out with here. I hate to think she's in for such a long road. Any more comments & input, please let me know and thanks again. Jaime & Gypsum
