Sounds like it might be something shorter term which is infectious and possibly needs to either be treated appropraitely or to run it's course to get better. If that is the case then you do not want to give them Immodium or Pred. You want the disease to pass through, and you don't want to reduce the effectiveness of the immune system. You DO need to go to the vet for fecal checks, though, in case something treatable is found so that the meds are the ones tailored for the specific problem. It also would not hurt to consider that you may have a bad batch of food and to try a new bag.
