They most definitely can get it. When that happens Albon is typically the meds of choice and wroks very well but all need to be treated then. Fortunately, it is very affordable.
I am not sure if I understand your second question but it you loook in the FHL archives under epizooic and zoonoses I think that you will find links to what you are seeking.
