I currently have four ferrets and we are having a run of diarrhea. Wm. has it the worst, and Sherman, not at all. Moxie had it quite bad for about a week or so, but has all but cleared up. Weezy was loose for a short time, but is getting better. It is like a bug that is running through them.(literally)
Wm.'s stool is very runny, and at times rather green. I know it is not ECE. I have dealt with that before many years ago, and this is not the same. I tried immodium (cherry flavored) and you would think I was making him drink gasoline. It has gotten so he runs from me when he sees the syringe. It really seems to stress him, so I thought there might be other suggestions. I was checking the archives and am I right in assuming pred. may be of some help. My old girl Dixie was on it before she died and I still have some left.
