Coccidia, cats, dogs, ferrets can get- usually species specific as far as
I know.
Coccidiomyocosis, a fungus found in soil, rarely a problem for humans
and probably much more rare in ferrets if it effects them at all The

about coccidia, a parasite quite commonly found in the stool and can
cause diarrhea
in ferrets.
