Subject: Update on Hepatic cystadenocarcinoma
Message-ID: <8764971.1044579085804.JavaMail.root@scandium>
Dodger was originally seen for bloating and found to have a biliary cyst. It was removed and he continued on his doses of pred and melatonin for the adrenal disease and insulinoma.
Dodger's last ultrasound showed his cystadenocarcinoma to be about 1.7 x 1.97 cc. Last week it showed it to be about 2 x 2.
He seems to be better - hair regrowth, improved attitude, etc., but the boy eats EVERYTHING! He has gotten FAT so I am reducing the chicken gravy and trying to get him to exercise more. We also reduced his pred to .2 mg bid and hope this helps the appetite.
Has anyone else experienced sudden increase in appetite after a year of pred?
Thank you.
renee :)
