The doctors office called yeaterday am telling me to stop the meds, and give 2 1/2 mg pred. as soon as possible. (I had held the morning dose since he was so stressed.) I was over an hour away with my daughter at the orthopedists office, and didn't get home until after noon. Anyway, I did give the pediapred, in heavy cream like he likes it. He ate better last night, but still seemed uncomfortable, both in his neck and of course, in his abdomen. He died quietly in his sleep sometime after three this morning. I am hoping to get a necropsy done. Thank you for your help. Mary
