First thanks for all the reponses regarding Lenny. Previous messages discri=
bed Lenny's digestive problems. He is scheduled for digestive biopsy on Mar=
ch 4th to pin point possible IBD or anything else. The problem now is he h=
as lost the weight he gained an for the most part has stopped eating except=
a few pieces I soak with water and hand feed him. Saturday night he woke =
up and started backing up and going to the bathroom about 4 times in 1/2 ho=
ur. Stool was solid dark green. He was whining in pain and his hind was co=
ntracted, even when held, as if he was going to the bathroom. We decided t=
o take him to the emergency room. I new he had lost weight and needed fluid=
s as well. He is about 2 lbs now ususally 3 to 3 1/2 lbs. More amoxi and f=
lagyl was prescribed and they gave us 4 cans of a/d food for him. When we =
came home he went to bed and in the morning we noticed he had eaten some fo=
od. Stool was still loose and somewhat green. My problem now is I do not b=
elieve I can wait for 2 weeks for surgery. Monday I will call my vet and tr=
y to have surgery sooner. Any thoughts on these latest events has anyone ha=
d ferret symptoms like this before. =

Thanks once again,
Roseann
