I would like to thank you all for you emails and suggestions on why my furry little guy was experiencing hair loss on his tail. We have recently moved into a new house and I had a lot of things going in and out. I decided the temporary safest place for Sebastian was the rest room, which is quite large mind you.
The great news about this long story is that the hair loss he had experienced suddenly disappeared. I think may the steam from the shower opened up the pores on his tail and some how cleared the problem and now he has a full furry tail. He seems quite happy in his new home and I am grateful that it was nothing serious. Thank you all again for your help and concern.
