hi all, i've got 4 lovely ferrets but right now i am very worried about my ~8-9month old female, marshalls, spayed, decented up to date on shots fed a mixture of science diet and marshalls (almost all marsalls).

she has been loosing weight at too fast of a speed for ~6-8weeks. I've got another appointment at the vets but wanted to get some questions answered. It was origionally thought to be a flu, then we tested for blockage. Shes been pallpated and given a barium test to test for blockage, so far that doesn't seem to be the issue. She's going to get blood work done on thursday.

She was dehydrated late january and has not been since i started using both a water dish and water bottle. she has never been very interested in food, and this hasn't changed. I feed her marshalls and science diet kitten. marshalls is a recent switch and she seems to like it better, but she is still loosing weight. I added this after she started loosing weight about 2 weeks ago.

She has never been a team player but lately she has less patient towards the other ferrets and plays less with them. she doesn't seem to have any problems getting around the cage and on to different levels.

mid january she had one green poop followed by birdseed type poop. She has had no other odd poops. since nor have the other ferrets.

this morning i picked her up and she was light, and her tummy was empty feeling. she ate what i gave her to eat including regular food. I've been giving her extra ferretvite to try and get the weight up.

She lives with three other ferrets that are not sick and are acting normal.

last i checked she was back down to her weight at 3-4 months old.

Does any one know what my baby most likely has. I'd like to be able to know whats going on when i go to the vets and to know what he should suspect and test for.
