Have you or your ferret been exposed to any ferrets who have broken with ECE in the last 8 months, or to kits at petstores?

There are many causes of such symptoms, but ECE is one and thus I am wondering about this. Here is the best source of info on ECE:

When one all-meat baby food is disliked try another; some just like the flavors switched around for variety. At times it will be hard to introduce one but once it is introduced it will go in just fine. We often mix them with heated water to about ferret body temp because then the smell is more noticeable, they help replace lost fluids more, and they can sometimes be eatten more easily. This can also be done with a/d which is available from vets.

Believe it or not, patiently and softly singing or speaking to the ferret during feeding can often help a ferret eat more.

A bland diet such as all-meat baby food is going to be easier on the small intestine, but sometimes you just have to get in whatever will go in.

See if skipping the heavy cream helps. Many ferrets are okay with that ingredient, but some get runs or may vomit from it. Ditto the Dyne.

Was a fecal test done?
