I believe that at least some ulcers can show up with barium. Ulcerated
tissue will trap the barium and cause the barium to show up in that area.
Now, many (most?) ulcers in ferret stomaches are tiny, tiny pin-point
sized things, and I don't know that those little ones would show up.
Larger ones can, though.
