For sniffles and head congestion, I usually just use a
vaporizer in the room where the ferret is. Just make
sure it's far enough away that the ferret won't get
burned. Other people steam up a bathroom and take
them in there until they clear up.
For the chest congestion, your vet may want to take
xrays or prescribe something for it.
