That's interesting. And it would make sense, wouldn't it? From all
sorts of angles it would make sense. It would explain the variance that we
see. It would also explain why some animals "sprout up" in a liter with a
neural crest disorder, but then others don't in nature. It would explain why
this disorder is not common, but is also not completely wiped out in nature
(they woulnd't survive if they weren't hardy). It surely would be
interesting to look at this. But unfortunately most people do'nt know their
ferrets lineage to do so. Very few private breeders ever breed blazes and
pandas (thank god), to get a large sampling to compare and find out.
