Hi,
I have a 3 year old ferret that is having problems with diarrhea and a prolapsed rectum. We have taken him to the vet and he was on Flagyl, Amoxil and pepto-bismal for aprox. 2 weeks - 3 weeks. A fecal exam was done and it came back negative but he is still having diarrhea and a prolapsed rectum. Under the vet suggested I was also rubbing polysporin on his bum as well. He recently lost a litter mate so I was thinking that it might be stress-related. Can anyone give any suggestion on what I can do to help with his diarrhea? I realize that is proably causing his prolapsed rectum and I would really like to help him get better.

Thank you in advance
Tatjana
