You are correct in this, and Mike and Pam have certainly steered you in the right direction.

I too believe that this is likely a gastric ulcer, and aggressive therapy with a bland diet, and Carafate is the way to go. I am certainly not happy about the possibility that he is peeing blood, and if this is truly the case, he should go in to see the vet tomorrow morning.

I apologize for my recent absence, but had to give some lectures at the Western Veterinary Conference, and on the plane apparently picked up the flu. Today is the first day that I have been able to make it to a computer.
