Hello everyone!!
I was wondering if anyone on the list knows if there are rabies and distemp=
er vaccine titers available for ferrets? =
With one of my ferrets having a reaction to last years rabies vaccination, =
if it is possible to do a titer to check for protection instead of putting =
him through the stress of another rabies vaccination, I would prefer to do =
that. =
I cannot with an easy mind just not vaccinate him against rabies as I do ha=
ve a dog in the house that routinely interacts with my ferrets as well as t=
raveling to areas were I KNOW that rabies is highly prevelant from confirme=
d cases.
Any information would be greatly appreciated.
