Thank you. I appreciate you replying to question. However, in my case, I
am not greatly concerned about an incident taking place, causing issues with
a non-vaccinated ferret. I am actually concerned about him being
unprotected from Rabies itself. I routinely travel with my ferrets to a
region of the country were rabies has been HIGHLY prevelant and confirmed in
the last two years. I personally know of over 20 humans that in the last
two years that have had to have post-exposure rabies vaccinations due to
contact with confirmed infected domestic animals (cattle, dogs, and cats).
Whiel the chances that my ferrets would come in contact with a
non-vaccinated domestic animal is slim, I don't want to take the chance of
them being non-protected. Thus my searching for information regarding
vaccination titers.
