Hi everyone. My ferret Sidney had surgery for insulinoma last week. He is 6 years old. I've never been through this before (well, neither has he) and I just want to know what to expect. I have been feeding him turkey baby food about every 4 hours. He laps it up eagerly but I want to get him back to his hard food. Is it too soon? I try putting it on the sweatshirt he sleeps in, putting a full bowl in his cage, putting little pieces in his mouth to gum on, etc. but he won't eat it. Any ideas? I know he and I would both like to get a full night's sleep :) Also, he is wandering around a little but not playing yet. Should I give him some more time? Thank you.
