Jen,
I have read and been told that ferrets should never recieve both the
rabies and distemper vaccines at the same time. My vet waits about 4 weeks
between both. Having them both at the same time increases the risk of a
reaction and also makes it impossible to know which vaccine caused the
reaction. Reactions are usually from distemper shots but it does happen with
rabies shots.
I am happy to hear that they are doing better :)
