Subject: Bloated Belly seen vet
Message-ID: <000e01c2e144$6011cc00$f6a573d1@nis991843893>

Hello again group,

Thank you to Sukie and Bruce for your responses. They gave me a better look=
to my Foster's condition with the bloated belly. He is still growing and a=
fter the visit to the vet, his condition seems to be serious. =

My vet took 3cc's of fluid from one side of his belly and another 3cc's of =
fluid from the other. The color was a orange/yellow, at first glance it loo=
ked like urine. After looking at it on a slide he confirmed it was not urin=
e but a sticky substance (Fluid build up inside) and no cells were found. M=
y vet said until the blood work came back that nothing can be confirmed. He=
said that Nathan's heart was healthy and judging the amount of fluid build=
ing that it was questionable that the adrenal gland could be producing this=
. He said the worst scenario is liver failure. Is there other areas that co=
uld produce this amount of fluid. Tumors still an option?
will keep you posted on the blood tests...I am still hopeful although I ha=
ve never been through something like this and am at a loss to life span or =
quality of life.

PS- The fluid build up is what?Infection?Secretion? If cells were found wha=
t would that confirm?
Sincerely,
Ve
