My Eeyore lost 4 cagemates last year. We made sure even if they were helped to the bridge, we brought them home for her to sniff so she knew. She still looked for her play buddys though.. and she sulked and would just sleep never wanting to play for some time. It took a few weeks for her to dance again after the last loss of my girl Pigs. It just takes some time and a lot of xtra TLC. Have you tried feeding gerber baby chicken to spice up your lil' man's appetite? Well, it took some time but Eeyore eventually came through and played and danced again. I recently adopted a play buddy for her from a nearbye shelter and she seems to enjoy the company and has a bit more spring to her step. I think a new interest could help your lil' guy out. It will also bring a new smell for him to search for in the house. Good luck today and keep positive.
