Subject: Carafate and Pepto Together?

Dear Friends,
Is it OK to give Pepto and Carafate at the same time? My little guy is on
10mg Pred and his is beginning tp gring his teeth more and not wanting to eat
as much. Was giving carafate only, things getting worse but Pepto alone
doesn't seem to be doing the trick. Yesterday I gave him both right together
(only once) and he seemed to be better. Is that OK?
