Subject: mold around the windows harmful ?

I have a 4 year old ferret, he's never been sick and we just moved back to
Washington state from Va. Here we get a lot of mold around windows and the
doors. The other day i was moving things around in the room where i keep my
ferrets, there is a moldy smell around the window and floor.I had noticed it
about the same time as i noticed my one ferret sneezing.The other ferret
seems fine. Should i put them in separate cages until i find the cause?
