A vet we know who has a client with little money to spare is looking into medical approaches for a ferret with adrenal disease so that something can at least be done since surgery and Lupron are both not within that client's budget.

I am seeking info on assorted medications for adrenal neoplasia and the complications involved: med, source, dosing, etc. (He asked me today when we were getting CD boosters for our kits and getting Ashling an older-age series of tests just due to her age.)

At this point it looks like their clients can afford melatonin and Ovaban, but if that is the best combo for their budget is still not known. The vet is an excellent one who loves ferrets and wants to do the best for the ferret within the constrictions of those circumstances.

The ferret especially has extremely itchy and sore skin.
